Sara Lou Nichols Pyatt, 69, died June 14, 2002, in Tonto Basin. She was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Monrovia, Ind.
Mrs. Pyatt was a member of the Friends Church of Phoenix from 1964-1973. She led youth classes and Pioneer Girls.
Survivors include her husband, Hansel Paul Pyatt of Tonto Basin; daughters, Marsha Lou Wagner of Phoenix, Renee Davis and Paula Waterman of Payson; sons, Steve Lee Nichols of Gilbert, and Rickie Pyatt of Nebraska; sister, Ruth Ellen Clark of Anderson, Ind.; brother, Joseph Robert Blunk of Scottsdale; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth C. Blunk; a sister, Edna Harrison; and a daughter, Debbie Pyatt.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, at the Tonto Basin Cemetery.
