Ralph H. McVey, 85, died at his home in Payson June 19, 2002. He was born Aug. 22, 1916 in Turlock, Calif.
Mr. McVey served in the Air Force for four years during World War II. He retired from the Bureau of Reclamation in 1973 after 32 years of service along the Colorado River.
He was a life member of the Payson Elks and the Hospital Auxiliary. Ralph was also a member of the Lions Club and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lois McVey of Tucson; daughter, Catherine Robinson of Blythe, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 100 N. Easy St. in Payson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
