Edward T. Glascock, Jr., 85, died June 15, 2002. He was born to Edward T. and Inez Glascock May 30, 1917, in Alton, Kan.
Mr. Glascock served during World War II as a captain in the Army Air Force. After leaving the military, he moved to Phoenix. He worked for O'Malley's before moving to Payson in 1956. In 1961, he purchased a lumberyard which he owned and managed for 18 years.
During his time in Payson, he was active in many service organizations and clubs. He retired in 1985 and moved to Mesa in 1990.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Pamela Kosirog and her husband, Jerry, and Cynthia Morgan; son, Edward T. Glascock III and his wife, Susie; sisters, Mildred Harris, Alice Babcock, Corinne Worley and Charline Johnson; grandchildren, Jesse Morgan, Geoffrey and Laura Kosirog, Jasmine and Brett Glascock.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29 at Trinity Baptist Church, 2130 E. University in Mesa.
