Jerzy A. Romanowski, 69, of Payson, died March 11, 2002. He was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Krakow, Poland.
Mr. Romanowski served five years in the Army Special Forces. He was the owner of the Aspen Motel for three and one half years in Loveland, Colo., and worked 14-1/2 years as a tool and die maker for Eastman Kodak Company retiring in 1965 and moving to Payson.
Survivors include his wife Helen Romanowski of Payson; one daughter, Theresa A. Romanowski of Castle Rock, Colo.; one son, Marek E. Romanowski of Johnstown, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Edward in 1978.
Services were held Thursday, March 14 at St. Philips Catholic Church with interment Friday, March 15 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
