Mcquerrey Returns To Roundup Roots

Teresa McQuerrey is a new name to most of our more recent readers, but it is one with which some of our longtime subscribers may be familiar.

Between 1980 and 1988, she worked with both the Mogollon Advisor and the Payson Roundup. She also is a graduate of Payson High School and earned a degree in mass communications from Northern Arizona University.

McQuerrey has worked for newspapers since 1977, first in Newport, Ore., then in Payson, Flagstaff and most recently, Camp Verde, where she was editor of the award-winning Camp Verde Journal for nine years.

She has returned to Payson and the Roundup to be close to her family, which has made its home here since 1970. Her sisters, Sherrie and Melinda are employed in the paper's production department.

McQuerrey will be writing a variety of stories, including a regular recipe column in the Rim Review.

She said she is delighted to be back at the Roundup and is glad to be home.
