Marlin Avery


Marlin Eugene Avery, 83, of Payson, died May 13, 2002 in Payson. He was born May 13, 1919 in Genoa, Ohio.

Mr. Avery was an auto mechanic and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Mickey Avery of Payson; daughters, Gema Kaminer of Phoenix, and Mary Macaluso of Phoenix; stepdaughter, Patricia Pederson of Los Lunas, N.M.; stepson, Michael Spillane of Minneapolis, Minn.; brother, Harold "Perk" Avery; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Payson. Interment at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.

The family requests donations to RTA Hospice, 107 E. Frontier Street, Payson, AZ 85541.
