Together We Can

Standing in a trailer packed with canned food, Kim Turney (right) of Payson Concrete helps load donations with Darlene Curlee (left) and Gina Elliott of the Time Out Shelter.

Working with the Payson Optimists and supported by the Payson Lioness Club, Payson Concrete kicked off its annual Oktoberfest food drive Monday through a program that also provides cash contributions to Special Olympics, Rim Country Hospice and Time Out Shelter.

Nonperishable foods are being collected for the St. Vincents de Paul Food Bank.

To help in this effort, drop off food or monetary donations at the Rim Country Mall on Highway 260 across from Safeway.
