Timothy “Tim” Bryan Watson, 38, of Tempe, died Nov. 6, 2002 in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 30, 1964 in Phoenix.
Mr. Watson moved to Payson in 1969 when he was 5 years old. He was in the first head start class in Payson. He graduated from Payson High School in 1982. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 1/2 years.
He married Jessi on June 17, 2000 at the Outdoor Chapel by Kohl’s Ranch with Pastor Ken Schroth officiating.
Mr. Watson was a model maker for Sports Collector’s Guild, designing stadiums.
In February of this year Mr. Watson was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica Victoria Watson of Tempe; daughter, Hilary Elizabeth Watson of Tucson; parents, Dick and Pat Watson of Tonto Village; sister, Cherri and Dean Stottlemyre of Flagstaff; brothers, Dick and Teresa Watson, Jr. of Mesa, and John and Cathy Watson of Tucson; nieces, Amber Stottlemyre of Flagstaff, and Katie Watson of Mesa; nephews: Travis Stottlemyre of Flagstaff, Rick Watson of Mesa, Nathan Stottlemyre of Flagstaff, and Tanner Watson of Mesa.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 a First Southern Baptist Church, 302 S. Ash, Payson.
