Myrtle Anspaugh, 84, died Nov. 19, 2002 in Payson. She was born to James and Carrie Bodenbender Sept. 25, 1918 near Defiance, Ohio.
Married Jan. 15, 1936, Mrs. Anspaugh and her husband owned The Castle Convalescent Nursing Home of Van Wert, Ohio in the early 1940s. After moving to Florida and Arizona she was a homemaker.
Survivors include Carolyn Paris and Mary Pikulik of Payson; Shirley Weir of Van Wert, Ohio; James Anspaugh of Ohio City, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Anspaugh; one brother and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Mesa First Church of the Nazarene, 955 E. University in Mesa.
