Madge Arlene Hambleton, 71, of Payson, died Nov. 24, 2002. She was born April 24, 1931 in Kenilworth, Utah.
Mrs. Hambleton was a lover of the arts, literature and history. She was a devout Roman Catholic and taught religious education for several years.
Survivors include her mother, Althea B. Peery of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters, Susan A. Johnson of Hot Springs, Ark., Debora Howell of Payson, and Kathy Wendall of Hermaston, Ore.; sons, Thomas O. Hambleton of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Marjorie Dansie of Utah and Tamara Cubic or Oregon; brother, Michael B. Peery of Utah; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Hambleton; daughter, Diane Hambleton; son, Michael Hambleton; and grandchildren, Tiffany Hambleton and Colette Griffin.
Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 S. St. Phillips St. in Payson, followed by a memorial Mass at 10 a.m.
Inurnment will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
