- When I moved to Payson, I was shocked to see people publicly humiliated (in the court record) for crimes they have yet to be found guilty of. I would venture into Pete’s Place for a soda and “Vi” would allow me to read everyone’s horoscope. Naturally, I would add some fun to them. I would also read aloud the court record. With the numerous domestic violence cases, this information became quite useful when it came time to choose a partner, date, etc.
