The Payson Women's Golf Association will wrap up a highly competitive summer and fall season at 10 a.m., Oct. 27 with a fun day and luncheon.
Those who wish to participate should sign up at the Payson Golf Course.
The association's final interclub match up of the season was played Oct. 16 against teams representing Verde Santa Fe, Oak Creek, Prescott and Beaver Creek.
The highlight of the tournament occurred when Oak Creek member Bonnie Welch swatted a hole-in-one on No. 14.
The ace was the first of her playing career, PWGA member Alesha Calderwood said.
In low gross scoring, Joyce Karnes claimed the tournament title with an 88.
Carding a 97, Dorothy Meet was runnerup.
In low net scoring, Gerry Quisenberry finished at 66 to stake claim the title. With a 70, Wilma Smith was second.
Posting identical scores of 72, Dorothy Back and Judy Neal tied for third.
