Dorothy May Cox, 86, of Snowflake, died Sept. 7, 2002. She was born Feb. 17, 1916 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Mrs. Cox was Arizona's first woman electrical contractor and worked in Phoenix for 37 years. In 1979, she moved to Payson, where she lived until February of this year when she moved to Snowflake.
Survivors include a sister and brother in Indiana; three stepchildren and her caregiver, Bill Webb of Snowflake.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at the First Assembly of God Church in Payson with the Rev. John Roy officiating.
