(The Payson residents) have every right to be and must be proud of all the people of Rim Country Middle School.

Today I had the privilege to attend the celebration and tribute to Sept. 11, 2001 at RCMS. For those adults and students present in the cafeteria it was a moving moment, a proud moment. Moving because of the time, effort and spirit that went into the various presentations; proud due to the attention, respect and interaction of the student body.

The many activities by the students to honor the departments in charge of our public health, safety, and of all the other victims were carried off with precision and compassion.

The music department, under the direction of Mrs. Goss and Mr. Buskirk, provided us all with such stirring, beautifully presented music.

There were many people involved in this assembly who deserve recognition but would say they received this through the beauty and "Proud to be American" emotion demonstrated by all present.
