Trash At Parks Is A Local Problem

Green Valley Park is one of the beautiful spots of Payson, but when I walked around the lake Tuesday (Sept. 10), the shoreline was anything but beautiful. The banks were littered with plastic bottles, cans and paper. These had been washed up during the recent rains, but why were they on or near the lake in the first place?

There are numerous trash cans throughout the park.

Let's all remember to use them.

We can't blame our Valley visitors for this kind of trash. This is a local problem, and we all need to work together to solve it.
