William Fletcher Wilson, 78, died in Payson, March 31, 2003. He was born Feb. 1, 1925 in Marlin, Texas.

Mr. Wilson married Arlene Fogerson April 22, 1972 in Carson City, Nev. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and retired as an ironworker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Arlene; sons, Tom (Debbie) Barrows of Ft. Lupton, Colo., and Earl Barrows of Denver, Colo; daughter, Debbee Plyican of Denver, Colo.; sisters, Shirley Fay (Billy) Samford of Joaquin, Texas, Iva Ruth Brown of New Waverly, Texas, Lucy Mae (Jim) Kelly of Grass Valley, Calif..; brothers, Allen (Phyllis) Wilson, Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, Audrey Lee Wilson of Houston, Texas.; sister-in-law, Corinne Wilson of Conroe, Texas; grandsons, Shannon Thomas (Stephanie) Barrows of Sacramento, Calif, Jason Thomas Barrows of Ft. Lupton, Colo., Jacob Earl Barrows of Thornton, Colo; granddaughters, Shasta Jamie Barrows, Westminister, Colo., Sara Jane Barrows of Ft. Lupton, Colo.; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Oliver and Vennie Mae Wilson; brothers, Tillmon Oliver Wilson and Wallace Walker Wilson,; sister, Velma Hall; and stepson, James Wesley Seagrave.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 913 S. Ponderosa, Payson, Ariz.
