The Rim Internet Services offers fast dial-in internet access for The Rim, the White Mountains, Phoenix and Tucson--featuring the new faster V.92 dial-in access with no busy signals and professional support. During 2002, the Rim Internet Services upgraded all of our equipment to the new, faster V.92 modems. Most new client computer systems come with V.92 modems installed, though we found most internet providers are not going with this new faster speed. V.92 compatibility also offers the availability to receive phone calls while you're on line. During 2002, The Rim also opened up services in Tucson, Payson, and surrounding areas.
Unusual facts about our business include that we offer large enough service to supply all demands, and are small enough to offer very personal service. Our staff of six technicians and support personnel have averaged over four years of service. The staff built and runs all of our servers, and can address any problems with immediate access to servers and accounts.
The Rim Internet Services' main offices are located in Lakeside. Since 1996, we have opened up services in Show Low, Snowflake, Springerville, Heber, Phoenix, Tucson, and Payson. All of our dial-in accounts can access their services from any of our cities.

Kohl's Ranch Lodge

Frank and Ellen Mulkern, nine-year residents of Payson, have operated Mulkern Photography for the past seven years. Professional photographers since 1985, they specialize in fine portraiture, using medium format and digital cameras. The formats of these cameras allow sharp, clear, wall-size photographic prints up to 40 inches by 60 inches. They also offer a full studio environment with a variety of lighting options, backdrops, and props.
Each year, Frank and Ellen enter their photographic work in competitive events through the Phoenix Professional Photographers Association (PPPA) and the Arizona Professional Photographers Association (APPA). They have both come home with earned merits and ribbons. As active members of the Professional Photographers of America, the PPPA, and the APPA, the Mulkerns are exposed to the methods and creativity of the best portrait and wedding photographers in our country. On behalf of APPA, the couple were hosts to the organization's annual "Summer Sizzler" in July of 2001. Sixty professional photographers from across the State gathered at the Mulkerns to share their expertise, participate in a photographic competition and be tutored by Master Photographer, Carlos Lozano.
From 1999 to the present, the Mulkerns have been official photographers for Miss Rodeo Arizona contestants, and for the queen when she is chosen each May. They provide her studio portraiture, as well as photographs for her ads and for the photogenic portion of the Miss Rodeo America Pageant.
