Wal-Mart Has New Manager

Danny Bell brings solid customer service skills and proven retail experience to job.

Danny Bell has been named the new manager of the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Payson, Ariz. Bell, who has nearly 30 years of experience, began his duties earlier this year.

"I'm thrilled with this new opportunity," Bell said. "The associates at this store are a great bunch of people. They do a good job of taking care of the customers in this community, and I look forward to helping them continue that fine tradition."

Bell joined Wall-Mart in 1996 as a store co-manager. He was a co-manager in Foley, Ala.; Bradenton, Fla.; Calloway, Fla.' Gulf Breeze, Fla., Mesa, Ariz.; and Scottsdale, Ariz., before being promoted to store manager in Payson.

"Danny is so deserving of this new opportunity," said Wal-Mart District Manager John Tow. "He has a strong history of serving the customer, and his proven retail experience well positions him for this job."

As part of Wal-Mart's commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the communities it serves by being personally involved in the community, he plans to be involved with the Chamber of Commerce and pursue other involvement opportunities in Payson.
