Donald J. Pratt, 70, of Tonto Basin, died Aug. 14, 2003. He was born May 13, 1933 in Brockton, Mass.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, owner of a saw shop in Heber, a lumberjack, and worked for Navopache Electric.
Mr. Pratt is survived by his wife, Shirley of Tonto Basin; daughters, Janet Lopez of Las Vegas, and Pamala Kostelny of Mesa; sons, Dan Boyd of Chandler, David Boyd of Alpine, Utah, and John Boyd of Lyman, Wyoming; sisters, Laura Buitta of Maine, Sylvia De Veau, June Walsh, Alice and Patti Pratt, all of Fla.; brother Norman Pratt of R.I.; 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 19, with the service following at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Payson. Interment will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Ariz.
