Barbara Skalocky, 80, of Payson, died Aug. 22, 2003. She was born July 7, 1923 in San Diego, Calif.

Mrs. Skalocky was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. She worked in the aerospace industry as a typist for Conair.

Mrs. Skalocky and her husband had lived in Arizona for 14 years, and she was a member of the American Legion.

She is survived by her husband, John of Payson; daughter, Stacy Levon of Davison, Mich.; sons, Michael Bulish of Spokane, Wash. and Tim Bulish of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Ray Day of Redding, Calif.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Arrangements are being handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
