Q: Why were the wishes of the people responding to the survey from the school on its calendar ignored?
A: According to the story published in the Roundup a few weeks ago, there were some members of the school board that felt the returned surveys were not an accurate representation of the wishes of the public, primarily because it was suspected that students had filled out a majority of them. Members had also received telephone calls from voters on the matter. However, the calendar issue will be revisited at a meeting of the school board at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8 at the district office, 514 W. Wade Lane, Payson. The meetings are open to the public.
