Liz Wilson, 54, of Payson, died Feb. 5, 2003. She was born July 26, 1948 in Omaha, Neb.
Mrs. Wilson and her husband started Payson Cab Company in 1979, where she also worked as a dispatcher.
She had served as a volunteer firefighter, and worked at the answering service many years. She was more recently volunteering at the Payson Police Department.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Wilson, Jr. of Payson; two daughters, Michelle Elizabeth Finlay (Tom) of Apache Junction and Heather Marie Mason (Jeremy) of Apache Junction; son, William L. Wilson, III of Payson; three brothers, Paul Jacobs of Phoenix, Richard Jacobs of Loveland, Colo. and Robert Jacobs of Youngtown, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Keaton, Kayla, Nicholas and Tommy.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero in Payson. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at Mario's, 600 E. Highway 260 in Payson.
