Quotskuyva Brothers, Davis Face Attempted Murder Charge

Garrett Quotskuyva, Waylon Quotskuyva and Jameson Davis are all facing multiple charges in the attempted murder of a Payson teen last summer.

The three are charged with attempted murder in the first degree-premeditated, plus burglary in the first degree and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.

Garrett Quotskuyva also is charged with criminal damage.

The charges against the Quotskuyvas, both 18, were filed Dec. 16, 2002. The charges against Davis, 21, were filed Aug. 14, 2002.

On June 30, 2002 the three allegedly went to a party in Ox Bow Estates. When they started throwing beer bottles, they were asked to leave and there was a fight.

The three men left, but returned with companions. Several of them held the victim as one of them beat him with a ball-peen hammer.

Gila County Attorney Daisy Flores said no court date has yet been set for any of the three.
