Accident sends two to hospital
An early morning accident Monday sent two young men to the hospital.
The accident was at the intersection of Airport Road and North Beeline at about 7:50 a.m., Jan. 6.
The driver and passenger of one of vehicles had to be transported to the hospital, according to Payson Police Lt. Don Engler.
Engler said the injured were Ryan Peters, 18, and a male juvenile. The other driver, Payson Elementary School principal Roy Sandoval, was uninjured, Engler said.
The accident is still under investigation with the possibility of issuing citations awaiting the outcome.
The recent report of four women being arrested when a search warrant was served at a Bonita Street residence, indicated the search warrant was obtained following a year-long investigation by the Payson Police Department.
The investigation was for general drug activity, not only the possession and use of marijuana, Police Lt. Don Engler said.
