Donald A. Rauscher, 84, died Dec. 25, 2002. Born in Haxton, Colo., he moved to Friend, Neb., where he graduated from Friend High School.
He then moved to California where he was a trucking supervisor for Blue Diamond Company.
He retired from Kopper's Ready Mix Cement Co.
Mr. Rauscher was an active member in his church, teaching fourth-grade boys Sunday School. He retired to Payson in 1983, where he enjoyed sharing hobbies with his wife.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (Frank) Root of California; step-son, Jerry Lane of Montana; 2 grandsons, Brad (Heidi) Lane of Montana and Eric Lane of Colorado; granddaughters, Annette Rushing and Andrea Root, both of California; nephew, Gene (Ruth) Rauscher of Nebraska; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Jacob Lane.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel; mother, Anna Marie; brother, Merlin and his beloved wife of 45 years, Erile (Lynn).
Graveside service was held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at East Resthaven Cemetery, 4290 E. Southern Avenue in Phoenix.
