Stars Come Out For Mha Benefit


The second annual Mogollon Health Alliance "Dining with Celebrities" benefit bash unfolds Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Fargo's Steakhouse.

Dinner will be served by a host of local look-alikes portraying celebrities like Dr. Evil (Will E. Dietz of ReMax Real Estate), W.C. Fields (Payson Mayor Ken Murphy), and Elvira (Julie Ruttle of National Bank of Arizona).

Entree choices include honey citrus chicken, honey-baked fresh salmon or prime rib.

Tickets for the event are $75, six for $500 or 12 for $1,000 and are tax deductible.

Proceeds will be used for a wide range of MHA programs., including a new nursing program at Gila Community College; free-to-the-public CPR classes; and MHA's other continuing education classes, community grants and education scholarships.

MHA is a non-profit organization that operates the auxiliary program at PRMC, provides health-related scholarships to high school students, sponsors the annual Women's Wellness Forum and Community Health Fair, offers grants to area fire departments for medical training, and supports other health-related causes.
