The body of Arleen Ruth Cilione, 60, was discovered Jan. 8 off Highway 89, about 10 miles southwest of Prescott.
Cilione was reported missing from Prescott Sept. 19 by family members.
Cilione lived in Payson for 20 years before moving to Prescott.
She was last seen at a Prescott tavern, Donna's Hut, at about 9:15 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19.
Her family said it was out of character for Cilione to take off without notifying anyone of her plans.
Motorists found Cilione's body in a wooded area and it was identified Jan. 9 through fingerprint comparison.
Authorities believe Cilione may have been the victim of foul play and continue to investigate the case, according to information from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office.
