Warren E. (Jack) Meadows, 79, of Payson, Ariz., died in Payson on July 25, 2003. He was born June 17, 1924 in Flint, Mich.

Meadows served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He owned and operated a dental laboratory in Hays, Kan. for 27 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Shrine. He has resided in Payson since 1976. He served as a Reserve Police Officer for the Payson Police Department.

He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Meadows of Payson; daughter, Patricia Odendahl, of Payson; sons, Warren (Doug) and wife Marti of Payson, Donald Meadows (Kathy) of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren: Kelly Herzog of Phoenix; Tom (Amy) Meadows of Houston; Tammy (Steve) Kraabel of McGuire AFB, N.J.; Cade Johnstone of Nashville; Rory Johnstone of Jacksonville, Fla., Travis Meadows (Wendy) of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Alicia Meadows of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two great-grandchildren: Zachery Kraabel and Elijah Kraabel of McGuire AFB, NJ.

There will be a funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
