Corrinne Mae Haedt, 73, died June 14, 2003 in Phoenix. She was born Feb. 17, 1930 in Lead, S.D., the only daughter of Hulda and Everett Totten.
She attended Lead High School, and graduated as a registered nurse from St. John's McNamara School of Nursing, Rapid City, S.D.
She married Donald W. Haedt on June 17, 1950 in Sturgis, S.D.
Mrs. Haedt worked as an office and hospital nurse for many years.
The last 16 years prior to retirement, Mrs. Haedt was the administrator of Clarkson Mountain View Nursing Home, including its restoration period after the disastrous flood of 1972. Upon retirement, she and her husband, Don, traveled for a few years, and in 1994 they settled near their daughter in Payson.
Mrs. Haedt's pleasures included her children, dogs, cabins, traveling and the many friends developed over the years. She especially enjoyed socializing and touring with the antique car clubs which the couple joined.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Cathy of Phoenix and Steven (Betsy) of Zion, Ill.; four grandchildren, John and Jason Morford, and Jered and Michael Haedt; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Telli Morford.

The family plans a private memorial service in the Black Hills where her heart always remained.
