Lake Reports



Apache: Fishing is good. Westy Worms, dropshots and Texas rigs are all working well for bass. There also quite a few fish being caught on crankbaits in off-colored water or after dark.
Bartlett: Fishing is good. Lots of smaller bass are falling for various worm rigs. Yamamoto jigs are producing some bigger fish on rocky points and reefs.

Pleasant: Fishing is good. Drop shot worms and Carolina rigs are working has been some good topwater actionn the recently opened Agua Fria arm.
Roosevelt: Fishing for crappies has been good. Target areas that have some chop on the water to find the most active fish. Most of the fish have been coming in 8-15 feet. Bass fishing has been slow. Some anglers have had success in the evenings with crankbaits and worms.
Saguaro: Fishing is fair to good. Westy Worms and craws have produced some good fish along bluffy areas. Other fishermen have reported decent fishing with dropshots.

Green Valley Lake: This fishery is part of the urban fishing program and requires an urban fishing license. The lake contains rainbow trout, bluegills, and catfish. Power Bait, salmon eggs and worms are effective. Try Crappie jigs, small Rapalas, crankbaits, and small spoons.

Woods Canyon Lake: Boat ramp is accessible. Fishing is fair to good. The lake has been stocked with catchable-size rainbow trout. Try worms, Power Bait, lures, and flies. Fish early and late in the day.
