William S. Scott is off the Gila County Sheriff's "Most Wanted" list.
Scott's warrant -- on a child support matter -- was satisfied June 19, but the information from the court had not reached the sheriff's office in time to remove the listing that appeared in the June 20 edition of the Roundup.
The warrant was issued March 4, 2003, according to a release from the GCSO stating it is now satisfied.
"William S. Scott no longer has a warrant for his arrest. The warrant has been removed from the Sheriff's Office files and he is not wanted by any other agency," according to the release.
The June 20 article in the Roundup has resulted in the GCSO receiving information about several of the individuals listed. Some reportedly have moved out of state, which the GCSO is trying to verify. As for those remaining in Gila County or anywhere else in Arizona, attempts to locate them will continue, with arrests to follow.
