They all had a great time and this is how the speed skating team did:

  • 300-Meter Race Heat 1: Tony Saba, second place; Tim Meeske, third place; Gary Bonn, sixth place. Heat 2: Robbie Gable, third; Leo Zanatto, fourth place.
  • 100-Meter Race: Robbie Gable, second place; Leo Zanatto, fourth place.

We are very proud of Leo and his team. Way to go guys! Special thanks to Payson's Special Olympic Director Becky Derwort and to the coaches Johnny and Jayne Gamboa, and to everyone who helped make this a very special event for everyone involved. You are all very special people.
