You recently printed a letter from Randy Jackson of Payson that suggested paying more attention to what our elected representatives are about to do. For the first time since weeks before the war started, the television news has begun to give us information about the president's proposed tax cuts. Now, we need to pay really close attention to who is for it and who is against it.
Mr. Jackson's letter told us to call, or fax, our congressmen and senators to let them know that we support the president's tax cut package. If you can't call or fax, you can write to them, or send them e-mail, but we should all let them know that a tax cut at this time is exactly what the country needs.
