For the first time in many months, the news on television, and in the paper, is about something other than the war. It was educational to see the embedded journalists, and everyone felt proud of our men in uniform, but, now that the situation has calmed down, it is time to put our attention on pressing matters here at home.
We have just started to learn about the president's plans for the economy. We need more articles about his jobs and growth plan. It sounds like there is tax relief for everyone.
Usually when Congress tells us they are cutting taxes, it is put off for so many years, we never even know it happened. We heard the president say he wanted tax cuts in this year. We hope he gets his way.
