Tax Cuts Mean Job Growth

Right on, Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt of Payson.

They wrote that our economy wouldn't be revived if we can't get the House and the Senate to pass President Bush's Jobs and Growth Act.

With the new joblessness rate at 6 percent, the economy needs more than a shot in the arm, and I think the president knows it.

He has said that he wants tax cuts in every year of his term.

History is on his side. Tax cuts mean job growth. Can you imagine how good the economy might be by election time if the tax cuts started now?

Is it possible the ones who don't want the tax cuts are willing to let the economy lag for political reasons?
