Q: Did the outdoor watering restrictions result in a significant reduction in consumption and are the restrictions continuing through the winter? If so, are the hours going to be changed, it is already dark at 6 p.m.?
A: Buzz Walker, director of the Payson Water Department, said they will not know whether the restrictions resulted in a reduction in consumption until it does its annual water audit in the spring. He said the advertisement the department is running says the restrictions ended Oct. 31.
