Mary E. Horcsik, 85, of Payson, died Nov. 10, 2003. She was born June 15, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mrs. Horcsik was a professional seamstress for the May Co. in Cleveland, Ohio. Later, she was a bookkeeper for the Bank of Cleveland.
She retired in the late 1960s and moved to Florida with her husband. She came to Payson in 1999.
Mrs. Horcsik loved the Lord and missed her family and is with them now and forever.
She is survived by nephews, Frank (Nina) Szakal of Payson and Bob (Susan) Szakal of Kannipolis, N.C.; cousins, Sylvia and Dave Zagonyi-Swyntak of Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada, Ilona Fodor and Emese and David Soudant of Tamworth, Ontario, Canada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabor Horcsik, and son, Eugene Horcsik.
A prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St. in Payson. Mrs. Horcsik will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 25.
