Q: Are those motorized skateboards street legal?
A: According to Sgt. Todd Bramlet, the town code considers them toys, so they are not street legal. But state law considers them vehicles, so they cannot be driven on sidewalks either, according to Police Lt. Don Engler. Nor can they be driven in bike paths. However a warning or citation is at officer discretion, Bramlet added.
