For voters with short memories I would like to point out that in 1997 the Payson electorate voted against funding for a library, a police station, and a fire station. Back then, just like today, we were told that these projects were impossible without special funding. All three building projects were completed in spite of being rejected by the voters.
I, personally, will vote against the bonded debt just to see if they can do it again.
It is a different city council today, but it has been my experience that all politicians would rather spend than save, and I disagree with that philosophy.
