Wilfred "Bill" Monte Young, 73, of Strawberry, died Sept. 8, 2003. He was born Jan. 17, 1930 in Tempe.
Mr. Young was a 26-year retired sergeant with the Phoenix Police Department.
He is survived by his wife, Adrienne of Strawberry; one daughter, Becky Wong of Mesa; son, Paul Young of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No services are planned at this time.
