Friends and family of the late Bob Lloyd will have a memorial ride from Payson to Punkin Center Saturday.
"Everyone who had their lives touched by Bob is invited," Dan Dillon, one of the organizers said. They do not have to make the trip on a motorcycle -- vehicles are welcome as well.
The ride, a celebration of life, will start with a gathering at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Oxbow Saloon. The ride will leave at 11:30 a.m., with participants stopping at the Punkin Center Restaurant and Bar for dinner. There will be a 50-50 drawing and raffles, plus memorial patches. Proceeds benefit Lloyd's family.
Bob Lloyd, 68, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Yellowstone National Park Sept. 4, while on the return trip from the Harley Davidson 100th Birthday Party in Wisconsin.
Dinner tickets are $7.50 per person and there is a choice of country style ribs or grilled chicken breast, both with accompanying side dishes.
