Mary Francis Larson, 102, of Payson, died Sept. 21, 2003. She was born Nov. 21, 1900, in Thatcher, to Joseph E. Blair and Addie Bryce.

She married Alexander Larson Sept. 21, 1917 in Globe.

Mrs. Larson was a lifelong resident of Arizona, known for her gardening, singing, rug-making, and trust in the Lord. She moved to Payson in 1997 to live with her daughter, Dorothy Dell Hydeman.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy D. Hydeman; seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander; two daughters, Helene Larson and Norma Jean Hill; and one son, Joseph A. Larson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Payson Stake Center, 913 S. Ponderosa. Graveside service at 4 p.m. in the Glenbar Cemetery in Pima, Ariz.
