Deborah Kay Lubbs, 53, of Scottsdale, died April 4, 2004. She was born Dec. 18, 1950 in Lincoln, Neb.
Mrs. Lubbs dedicated most of her life to genealogy. She graduated in 1969 from Springfield High School in Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University and Sauk Valley Community College.
Mrs. Lubbs engaged in active charity work with the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her sons, Brian Lubbs and Kirk Lubbs of Scottsdale; mother, Donna Herning of Payson; ex-husband, Michael Lubbs of Bountiful, Utah; and brother, Paul Herning of Atlanta, Ga.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 7 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
