Bill Ryan is home and recuperating from a freak accident, but the family needs help with medical and other expenses.

Ryan fell off his roof Jan. 29 and was impaled by an antler on an ornamental buck, which penetrated four inches into his skull. He also suffered cracked ribs and a torn spleen.

After two weeks in intensive care and four weeks in rehabilitation, Ryan is home and on the mend, wife Holly Ryan reports.

The Payson Pro Rodeo Committee is holding a benefit spaghetti dinner and auction for Ryan at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at the Moose Lodge in Star Valley. Tickets are $5.

Donations can also be made into a Stockmen's Bank account established for that purpose (account 7270003358). For more information, call rodeo committee treasurer Phyllis Sales at (928) 474-9721.
