Friends Make Nightmare A Little Easier

Editor:

This is a long overdue thank you to so many individuals and businesses for going out of your way in so many ways. I'm talking of the generosity and caring of so many that helped with the fund-raising event for the family of Ira Eastman. So many helped; so many cared.

The businesses that contributed were: Timmer Woodworking, Shepherd's Glass, Foxworth-Galbraith, Ace Hardware, Riff Raffs at the Black Bear, Fargo's Steakhouse, Beeline Cafe, Back to Basics, Legacy Home Furnishings, Strawberry Lodge, Lemon Tree, Crosswinds Restaurant, Neuman Paints & Kutz Etcetra. I want to express a special thank you to the entertainment that evening of Beat Red, John and Lu Carpino, as well as Joe Miracle.

The casino will always hold a special place in my heart for all of their advertising and everything they did as well as their wonderful staff and security. And, a big thank you for all of the radio air that was given to this event.

I also wish to tell everyone that I cannot thank or express enough, to all of our special friends, for all of your concern, cards, flowers, money and love you have shown me since my Ira's tragic death.

A special thank you to Father Jim at the Holy Nativity Church and his understanding and beautiful memorial. A big, big thank you to the very special people who prepared all of the food. You all know who you are. All of you have truly made it a little easier for me to deal with this nightmare. I love you all and will never forget.
