It took a good deal of community support for Margaret Hargett to make the trip to the Junior World Outdoor Championships in Lilleshall, England.
There were the costs of round-trip travel and room and board during the seven days of competition.
Margaret and her parents began fund-raisers to help defray the costs.
An account was opened at the Payson branch of the Bank of America where sponsors made contributions.
Now that she has successfully returned, Margaret says she is extremely grateful to the many sponsors who contributed.
Among those she wishes to thank are: Tonto Rim Sports Club, Black Mountain Excavating, Cut Loose Hair and Nail Salon, Rye Bar and Restaurant, Lamplighter RV Resort, Famous Sam's, Pine Country Outfitters, Sears, Radio Shack, Bashas', Pizza Factory, Jackalope Books, Curves, Payson Feed and Pet Supply, Fletcher's, The New Ewe, Marble Slab, Corral West, Payson Concrete, PostNet, Payson Athletic Club, Moose Lodge and CMX.
