Bowl-A-Thon For Big Brothers Big Sisters Is Big Success

Payson Mayor Barbara Brewer was on hand to encourage participants at the third annual Bowl For Kids Sake bowl-a-thon for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gila County. Getting good wishes from the mayor are (from left) Drew Kofile, Seara Reaume, Janelle Garrison and Alana Carrasco. There were 64, five-member teams in this year's event. Bowling at Rim Country Lanes took place on Sunday, Aug. 15 at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Accompanying the competition were a raffle, special sales and lots of music provided by DJ Craig.
