Hansel Paul Pyatt

Hansel Paul Pyatt, 78, of Tonto Basin, died Aug. 17, 2004 in Phoenix. He was born Jan. 22, 1926 in Boss, Mo. and moved to Arizona in 1957.

He loved the Tonto Basin area and was an avid lover of hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved his family dearly and will be missed and is loved.

Survivors include his daughters, Renee Davis and Paula Waterman of Payson, and Marsha Wagner of Phoenix; sons, Rick Pyatt of Lincoln, Neb. and Steve Nichols of Phoenix; sister, Peggy Crowder of St. Louis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara; daughter, Debbie Pyatt; and first wife, Winnie Dale.

Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 at the Tonto Basin Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
