Cecelia Shimer, 85, of Payson, died Aug. 19, 2004. She was born July 18, 1919 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Mrs. Shimer was a Woman of the Moose and was on the board of the Property Association of Tonto Creek Shores, a full-time mother and a loving Christian.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary (Ed) King, Juanita (Fred) Park and Theresa (Ray) Hernandez, all of Arizona; sons, Keith (Betty) Schnepp, Larry (Pat) Schnepp, Donald Schnepp, Robert Schnepp, Thomas Schnepp and Kenneth (Sheri) Schnepp, all of Arizona; sister, Mygleetes Matzinger of Ohio; brother, Harry Caulkins of Ohio; 34 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Schnepp Sr. and Theodore Shimer; her daughter, Viola Olson; sister, Edythe Kelly; brother, Nathan Caulkins; and granddaughter, Danita Schnepp.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25 at Tonto Creek Shores Church in Gisela.
