The difference between Christianity and other religions is, simply, Jesus.
Only Jesus made the lame to walk and the blind to see. Only Jesus stilled a storm with three words, "Peace, be still." Only Jesus told a dead man to "Come forth," and Lazarus arose, alive and well.
Jesus alone, whose name means Savior, called God "my Father" and said, "The Father and I are one."
The tough part comes when Jesus states, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." How dare He say that? When He drove the money changers out of the temple, how dare he do that?
Unless, of course, He is the way, truth, and life. Unless He really is God's Son, sent to be Savior to whoever opens his heart and mind to seek God's way to Himself. "This is my beloved Son," is the Bible's report. "Listen to Him."
There it is. We can search for other ways. I tried that for years. Then Jesus made the "blind" to see.
Jesus is what Christmas is all about, a Babe announced by angels and worshiped by wise men. Jesus is what Easter is all about, the Lamb of God dying and rising from the dead for us to see He loves us. "Because I live, you will live also," He promises.
Check it out for yourself. Compare the different religions. Jesus said, "Ask, seek, knock." If you really want to know, He'll show you. Only Jesus can do that.
